The eyedropper tool in Illustrator is used to sample and select colors from your artwork or any other source, such as an image or graphic. Here’s how to use it:
1. Select the object or area from which you want to sample a color. 2. Select the Eyedropper tool from the toolbar or press the “I” key on your keyboard. 3. Click and hold the mouse button over the area that contains the color you want to sample. 4. Release the mouse button to select the color. The color swatch at the bottom of the toolbar will change to the sampled color. 5. To apply the sampled color to a new object or area, select the object or area, then click on the swatch in the toolbar to apply the sampled color. You can also use the Eyedropper tool to sample gradients and patterns by clicking on the gradient or pattern swatch in the Swatches panel while the Eyedropper tool is selected. This will apply the gradient or pattern to the selected object or area. Unlock the power of your small business with a custom web design that showcases your unique brand and offerings.
